easy access to beautiful hiking and local attractions
I stayed here for 2 nights and loved the little patio seating area outside my room with amazing mountain views. Enjoying the geothermal hot tubs while soaking in the fine surroundings was nice. Especially if you love walking as I do.

The breakfasts were great with quite good assortment of hot and maple syrup, for example and amazing service. Location: the hotel was very close to an idyllic valley, part of the Borgarfjordur fiord in southwest Iceland, the bridge where Ben Stiller filmed part of The life, and the Bistro...

Strongly recommend for a weekend excursion
Spacious room, comfortable bed, with a lovely breakfast buffet that fuels your day of exploring nearby attractions.

Breakfast cost too much for what you get. Nothing warm in the selection and as the room was already very expensive I would have expected complimentary breakfast. Low value for money! Staff not very attentive and did not make you feel very at home.

We didn't have time, so we will be returning here soon. Came in Borgarnes to relax and have fun, this golf hotel was comfortable base for doing it. Its location in Borgarnes was exceptionally nice, very close to the bridge where Ben Stiller filmed part of The life and the in house restaurant.

enjoyable stay with fine scenery
The staff addressed an issue that arose , providing tools quickly and efficiently. The mountain views from our room were nothing short of lovely! I particularly enjoyed breakfast. The offerings were diverse and delicious. In the evenings, the garden view was also a nice touch.
The supper menu felt a bit limited at first glance.

Weak breakfast, not worth it.

A very clean, basic room that's just a short drive out of town.
Breakfast should be included in the price as well as WiFi should be free.

The hot tubs were excellent, the views of the mountains were fine, and we loved exploring the golf course. We even got a wake-up call for the northern lights one night, magical!

This hotel feels like a business hotel with a somewhat sterile character, but this gets somehow compensated by the hospitality and charmes of the manager. She makes your breakfast memorable.
To distant location from Borgames (about 3km)

The hotel is clean, smart and comfortable. Staff are friendly and informative about the local area. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were very pleasant.
It is a fair way out of the town of Borgarnes. As we had a car, this was not a problem, but it could be difficult for those who do not have their own transport.

We really enjoyed our stay! The fine countryside around the hotel was perfect for our family, and the kids loved the hot tub after a day out exploring. Dining was a delight. The restaurant had delicious options that pleased both the adults and the youngsters alike.
My kids wished for connecting rooms for an easier night with one adult per child.

Excellent helpful staff. Well equipped spacious rooms. Excellent location with great views. Breakfast and dinner are fine, but the dinner menu is a little restricted.
No major faults but the hotel would benefit from a lounge or other room set aside for guests to relax. There is a break out area in the bar restaurant but it is quite small.

Charming Stay Amidst Fine Views
The clean, modern room provided a perfect retreat. Breakfast was really good with oatmeal and pancakes as favorites. Dinner, however, missed the mark with desserts that didn't impress. I'd recommend exploring local options for sweets instead. Don't miss the views from your room!
